I spoke to Brian and he said it would be fixed. Cheryl sends me a text (no call!!!) saying we will not reverse the charge as the contract was signed.
I had my reservation with no insurance and pick up at 11 am. When I get to the counter, the representative (Brian) rented the car out to me. He gave me the contract and asked me to initial on three spots. NO EXPLANATION OF THE CONTRACT AND DID NOT TELL ME THAT THEY HAD DECIDED TO CHANGE THE CONTRACT TO INCLUDE INSURANCE. I returned the car earlier than expected. Next thing I know is I have been charged extra: 1 extra day charge and $126 extra charge.
Best rent a car ever... ask for Jose or Brian... They are super professional and threat you with respect and accuracy. Super recommend!
The guys at reception are very helpful. I have there been twice as yet and both the times my experience has been awesome !
I was renting a car for a 3-day trip to Montreal. The staff was very flexible, and I wound up renting a relatively low-mileage BMW 5-series sedan. I will definitely go back here. Just bear in mind it's a small location so they will have limited inventory.
DO NOT TRUST AVIS/BUDGET RENTERS AT CABOT HOUSE.
I am a long time preferred and rent cars all the time. If only yelp could let you rate negative or zero, this place would fit right in. No inventory, rude uninformed staff, dirty cars, will never get you upgrades and will put bad remarks on your customer profile just so you cant get a decent car anywhere else. I have tested them long enough .. Do not waste your time and get a car anywhere else.. Close to Boston or Worcester would get nicer cars, better rates.
