Great spot to go for a casual walk in the woods! It's not the most scenic of parks, but there's a nice little pond near the entrance with some picnic tables. Good spot to bring kids, dogs, etc.
I really enjoy this space due to it's proximity to my home and the variety of terrain. It offers. I just hope that it doesn't get develooed
Pretty park, accessible. It's great that dogs can be off leash but not all dogs are obedient to their owners (hence the missing of a star). I do want to know what the purpose of that chimney is though....
This is on my shortlist of favorite local hiking spots. Great for a couple hours in the woods, no matter the season.
There are many entrances to different parts of the park. The south side of the park has a large parking lot and multiple trails. Highly used, especially by people with dogs. Not so clean. There are several more entrances on Edmunds road, one with a large parking lot that accesses the same trails from the other end and is clean. Also requires immediate ascent uphill. If you continue to the north section of the park, there are small pull off areas near Eastleigh farm and if go all the way to the end of Edmunds and turn right on Broadmeadow continue a few hundred yards you will find a well marked parking lot in the woods and two trail entrances. An easy 1 mile heart friendly loop, or you can use the trail maps and markers to go further. Beautiful for forest bathing!
